Movie folks like to bang on about how good 1999 and 2007 were for film (it’s me, I’m the folks), but 1991 has to be a contender for the Great Years in Cinema pantheon. Barton Fink? The Fisher King? Hudson Hawk? Hell yes, Hudson Hawk. And of course, Thelma & Louise. 32 years later, this movie is still a banger, and one of Ridley Scott’s best.
